Jozani Forest is the only remaining natural forest in Zanzibar.
Therefore perfect for a different kind of half day trip. The forest is home to a number of endemic species, including the Zanzibar Red Colobus Monkey.

 You will spot the monkeys in abundance all around the area,
hence you just need a camera and sometimes a bit of patience.

The forest located just about a 20min drive from Stone Town.

It is a narrow neck of land between the Chwaka Bay in the north and Uzi Bay to the south. It contains about 100 tree species from a total of 43 families.
