If you’re getting tired of lying on the beach or have already experienced the tours and excursions Zanzibar has to offer, why not ride down the beach, at sunset? Or explore coconut plantations on horseback?

The Zanzibar Horse Club in Nungwi Beach opened in 2018. They offer a variety of accompanied rides to suit all tastes; beach rides both in the morning and evening including sunset, swimming with horses and cultural rides in Nungwi village. All their rides are dependents on the tide but this is a great time to swim with the horses.

If you are inexperienced or a bit nervous, it can be arranged for the horses to be led by their grooms.
